Information for sponsors – This PDF contains information which can be shared for sponsor requests.

Pavilion and Stage

The pavilion is also the open seating area for the stage. The pavilion has overhanging covering which will enable activities to continue if there is light rain.

The stage is sheltered and has electrical available.

There will be audio equipment available for sessions. Facilitators: If you have specific requirements please let us know.

There is electrical available in the pillars across the pavilion.

Chairs will be available for people who wish to participate/enjoy sessions but require seating. These may be limited in number. People are welcome to bring folding lawn chairs.

Grass Area

This space will be used for sessions through the day.

Free Play Area

This area will have fun activities for all ages – hoola hoops, bubbles, mega blocks, etc.

Facilities are available for us to sell food and beverages.

We can also use the open window for smoothy, juicing and healthy food presentations.

Vendor Area

We will have a few vendors that have offerings that fit our theme for the day. These vendors will be located just to the left of the stage.

There will also be a table for the Nathan T. Deslippe Memorial Fund and other organizations such as the Canadian Mental Health Association that have information available to share.

Water Station

A water station will be available for those that bring a water bottle and wish to refill.

We will be accepting donations throughout the event for the Nathan T. Deslippe Memorial Fund. In memory of Nathan we will have his signature green and orange sunglasses available for a donation.

REQUIRED: Someone to order the sunglasses and distribute to volunteers to share with participants.

Volunteers are required to help make this event a success. If you can help us out please check out our volunteer page here.

Nathan's Urban Farm
Launched at Growing Chefs! Ontario at The Grove at Western Fair District ! Thank you Andrew and team for opening up space for us. This is a win-win for us to be here and supporting education about growing vegetables, preparing vegetables and most especially... eating yummy vegetables!!!Growing Chefs! offers such informative, engaging content about food. Being able to reach youth to educate them about healthy foods is one of our 3 goals. This is especially exciting as Growing Chefs is running summer camps with youth. They will now be able to experience our farm first-hand and see how their food grows. The experience of eating a vegetable which has just been harvested IS AMAZING! The taste is indescribable. #sustainablefarming #sustainablefood #foodeducation #partnership #growyourownfood #foodpoverty #519london #ldnont ... See MoreSee Less

Nathan's Urban Farm
Strawberries, banana and mint leaves. Naturally delicious!Mint is being grown in a jar. It contains the roots and makes it super handy to walk out on the desk to cut leaves as I need them. A bit of nutrient solution periodically and it is happy! #foodie #foodsecurity #healthyeating #nathansurbanfarm ... See MoreSee Less
